About Us
Additive Innovations was established in 2022 to focus on application development leveraging binder jetting and other additive manufacturing technologies and techniques. Our team is composed of experienced additive manufacturing engineers and technology leaders familiar with a broad array of hardware, software and process development solutions. Our goal is to advance the utilization of binder jetting technology in the manufacturing space to create new opportunity for design and application in key industry verticals.
Our Team
Douglas Zemba — Chief Executive Officer
Doug is the principal administrative officer of Additive Innovations and is responsible for substantially all executive level functions, including contract development and financial related matters of the company. Prior to joining Additive Innovations, Doug served in various executive roles, including as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of The ExOne Company (Nasdaq: XONE) prior to its acquisition by Desktop Metal Inc. in 2021. Doug began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) as part of their audit and assurance practice serving both publicly traded and private companies in the industrial products and metals sectors. Doug received a BS degree in accounting from The Pennsylvania State University in 2002.

Andrew Klein — Chief Technology Officer
Andrew is the founding executive of Additive Innovations and is responsible for leading the technical development and operations of the company. Prior to joining Additive Innovations, Andrew served as the Global Director of Technology at The ExOne Company (Nasdaq: XONE), focused on both hardware and materials development with a principal focus on the direct printing of metal and ceramic powders. Andrew received a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University in 2012 and a MS degree in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2014.

John Hartner — Senior Advisor
John is a Senior Advisor and founding investor of Additive Innovations. Prior to joining Additive Innovations, John served as the Chief Executive Officer of The ExOne Company (Nasdaq: XONE) prior to its acquisition by Desktop Metal Inc. in 2021. John is the Founder and Managing Member of Digital Industrialist (https://digitalindustrialist.com/) which has an extensive history in investment in digital technologies, automation and Industry 4.0.
